Red Grouse

Scientifically Red Grouse are known as Lagopus Lagopus. They are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. They are usually found in upland heather moors. Usually, they eat Heather, seeds, berries, insects, etc. They are from 37 to 42 cm in length and weigh up to 650 to 750gm. It is reddish-brown, with its legs and feet covered in pale feathers.
